I want to thank Felixdeon for his beautiful photos.

step 2

To copy the moon onto the landscape, we have to cut a perfect circle. We can do that with the elliptical marquee tool.
Place the elliptical marquee tool in the top left corner, on the same height as the top of the moon.
Hold shift key while moving the elliptical marquee tool to the bottom right corner, to keep a perfect circle. If you don't press shift key, you'll get an ellips.

step 3

edit>copy
Now we are going to the landscape photo.
edit>paste

step 4

We'll call this layer "layer1-moon"
You can rename a layer in the layers window.
-right-click on the layer you want to rename
-click on "layer properties"
-type in the name you want
-click ok

We could scale down the moon, but to get the fantasy effect, we are keeping it big.
The moon doesn't blend in very well with the rest of the image, so we have to do something about that.

step 5

In the layers window, change the blending mode of the moon layer to "overlay" and the opacity to 70%.

avatar Darkstaidwow that was a really good tutorial, especially the motion blur effect. Some things I would have done differently like the masking but everyone has their own style. Yours in fantastic nice work
